What it is
Regulatory status: Dietary supplement blend; not an approved sleep or recovery treatment.
Evidence basis: Human clinical evidence
Magnesium and zinc are essential nutrients with distinct roles in enzyme activity, neuromuscular function, protein synthesis and immune function. A combined product corrects deficiency only if intake is inadequate; combining the minerals does not create a unique proven sleep or recovery mechanism.

Known side effects, interactions and use limits from reviewed sources.
Supplemental magnesium commonly causes diarrhea and can accumulate in severe kidney disease. Excess zinc can cause nausea and, with prolonged high intake, copper deficiency. Both minerals can reduce absorption of some antibiotics; magnesium also interacts with bisphosphonates.
