What it’s for
- Supplementing the nutrients on its label
A Blueprint product combining vitamin K forms and carotenoids.
Purpose, evidence and practical considerations.
The manufacturer establishes product composition. Research on individual ingredients does not demonstrate that this exact combination prevents disease or slows ageing.
Confidence: unsupported
Vitamin K can materially interact with warfarin and other vitamin-K-antagonist therapy. Total carotenoid and fat-soluble vitamin intake should include other supplements and fortified foods. Product use during pregnancy or alongside anticoagulants needs clinician review.
The formula combines vitamin K1, two vitamin K2 forms and several carotenoids. These compounds have different nutrient and antioxidant roles; a mechanism for one component does not demonstrate a net clinical benefit from the blend.
Regulatory status: dietary supplement; not FDA-approved to prevent or treat disease
