Human evidence for improving testosterone, bone health or performance is limited. A change in a hormone measurement does not establish a health benefit.
Confidence: weak
The US adult tolerable upper intake level is 20 mg/day from all sources. Excess can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache and reproductive toxicity; products intended for household or industrial use must never be ingested.
Boron is a trace element that may influence mineral metabolism and steroid-hormone handling, but an essential biochemical role and clinically meaningful hormone effect have not been established in humans.
